Hey Warriors, this Wednesday on March 19th for our first home game with the YB Warriors we will be going up against the Piedmont Hill Pirates. And both JV and Varsity will be starting at 6 pm. Last year Piedmont won 13-2 and their league record was 12-2. While YB won 11-3 with our league record being 10-0. We hope for the best for our Warriors and win this game. GOOD LUCK YB!

Hey warriors! On Wednesday the 26th, we have an away game against Evergreen Valley High School. Currently our record is 1 - 3, and unfortunately on a two game losing streak. Last year EV won the league and went undefeated. With our next match against EV we hope we can win to snap this unfortunate streak. We hope players like Molly Do, AnhBang Nguyen, and Nam Duong can do well like they have recently to support our team and go for the win. Come out if you can and Goodluck YB!

The Yerba Buena Warriors faced the former league champ Evergreen Valley High, falling 2 - 13 in a challenging matchup. Now in the A league we have to face increasingly harder competition, and this will help condition us to match up against tougher opponents. While the result may not have been in our favor, this match provided valuable lessons and reinforced the importance of growth, perseverance, and teamwork.

• Boys Doubles: 1 wins – 2 losses
Our boys pair of Kenny & Ryan Ngo were able to squeeze out a win in the third set having a close match going 21 - 19.
• Girls Singles: 0 wins – 3 losses
• Boys Singles: 1 wins – 2 losses
Our guy Jesus Diaz had an intense match securing our other win, also taking it to the third set and winning 21 - 17.

Hey Hey warriors! On Friday March 28th we head to Leland highschool to face off against the chargers! Their record is currently set at 1 - 4, and Leland’s record is 2 - 3. So this match might be a close one! With only a one game difference in our records we hope to improve ours, on an unfortunate note we are on a 3 game losing streak, but Let's hope that this game will end that. We hope to grab more wins with players who did well last game with our boys doubles pair Kenny and Ryan Ngo who got a win in a close match going to 3 sets, as well as one of our boys Jesus Diaz who got a win in the 3rd set as well. Let's hope we can take this energy from the previous match and lock in for Friday. Good Luck warriors and get that win!

The Yerba Buena Warriors faced off against Leland, losing 4 - 11 in a challenging matchup. In an unfortunate loss, we did well in certain categories like in mixed and girls doubles. While the result may not have been in our favor, this match provided valuable lessons and reinforced the importance of growth, perseverance, and teamwork.

Our doubles did well with Dan T & Han N winning their game in the first two sets, as well as AnhBang N & Vy D also winning without worrying about a third set. congrats to them and their excellent wins.

Christine L & Ivy N had no problem winning their sets winning in two. Ngoc L & My N had a rather exciting match taking it to 3 sets and winning in a dominant 3rd set 21 - 8.

Hello Warriors, this Wednesday April 2, our YB badminton team will have a matchup against Silver Creek with both JV and Varsity starting at 6pm. Last year Silver Creek won overall 11-5, with their league record being 9-5 and we hope our YB Warriors can win this matchup. We have great expectations for our team, GO WARRIORS!!!

On April 2, the Yerba Buena Warriors varsity badminton team clashed with the Silver Creek Raiders in a spirited and competitive match at Home Gym. Though the final tally favored Silver Creek, 10-5, the scoreboard only tells part of the story. Mixed Doubles : 1 win – 2 losses - Dan Tran and Han Nguyen delivered a standout performance with a straight-set victory (21-15, 21-15), showcasing strong coordination and tactical net play.
Girls Doubles : 1 wins – 2 losses - The pairing of Chau Nguyen and My Nguyen added another win (21-17, 21-11), reflecting strong synergy.
Boys Doubles : 1 win – 2 losses - A hard-fought three-set match saw Nam Duong and his partner push Silver Creek deep (18-21, 21-16, 15-21) - Hieu Nguyen and team dominated their court (21-13, 21-8), standing out with consistency and pace.

Last year independence went 3-11, with their current league record being 0-6. So we hope our YB Warriors can take advantage and win this matchup. On April 4, the Yerba Buena Warriors varsity badminton team clashed with the independence sixers in a blowout win at their school! We won 10 - 5! winning many matches in good fashion, showing how our hard work has been paying off.

Mixed Doubles : 0 win – 3 losses Really close tough matches with all three of them going to the third set, our warriors just barley couldn't make out the win.
Girls Doubles : 3 wins – 0 losses - All our amazing girls pairs were unstoppable winning all their matches accept one set! great performance ladies!
Boys Doubles : 3 win – 0 losses -Our boys also did exceptionably well, with them winning their games, great job and keep it up!
Girls Singles: 2 wins – 1 loss - Our girls singles did well too! Ivy Nguyen and Molly Do got their wins in two sets so great games ladies!
Boys Singles : 2 wins – 1 losses - Our boys won more than lost, with Jesus Diaz and Quoc Nguyen winning their matches in two sets as well.

Last year Andrew Hill came 6th with their score coming out to 4-14, with their league record being 4-10 and we hope our YB Warriors can win this matchup. We have high hopes for our YB, GO WARRIORS!!!

On April 9th, we faced off against Andrew hill on our home court! We ended up winning the match in a respectable 9 - 6 victory! We fought hard to defend our home court and did our best.

Boys Doubles : 2 win – 1 losses -Our boys got two nice wins with the twins Hieu & Hien getting it done as well as Ryan & Vu. great jobs guys!
