Hey Warriors! Our JV team ended in a 2-2 tie, as for Varsity they finished with a 2-2 tie as well. With Anthony Argueta and Christopher Mendez getting a goal each. Our Warriors unfortunately ended their winning streak but they are determined to continue to rack up points in order to keep themselves in 1st place in the league. The Warriors now focus on their next match against San Jose High, on Tuesday, January 27th. Get ready to come out and support our Warriors!!!

Pre article vs. Independence 01/22

Hey Warriors!!! The Warriors are facing Independence high tomorrow, January 22nd for their 4th league match of this season. Last season our Warriors faced Independence twice in league with the first game ending in a 1-0 loss and the second game resulting in a 3-0 victory for our Warriors. This year we look to get a good result again. With amazing players leading the team such as Christopher Mendez, Bryan Ortega, Jason Lauriano, and Andrew Zarco. The Warriors look to keep their undefeated streak at home. JV starting @ 4:00 PM and Varsity @ 6:00 PM. Come out and support the Warriors on their next league game!!!

Hey Warriors! Yesterday our Warriors just had their third league game, earning yet another victory! JV scored a tie against Gunderson, which being 1-1. However Varsity won by 3 points against Gunderson, winning 5-2. With Anthony Argueta scoring 2 goals, and Jason Lauriano, Andrew Zarco, Christopher Mendez all scoring one goal. Congratulations to our boys soccer team for their consistent success in each match they face! Our Warriors have been coming up on top with a league record of 3-0 so far, but our Warriors have yet another match to face against. Tomorrow YB will be going against Independence High. JV will start at 4:00 PM & Varsity will start at 6:00 PM. Make sure to come out & support our Warriors in their fourth league game!

Hey Warriors! Our boys soccer team is getting ready to take on the Gunderson Grizzlies in their 3rd league game. YB hasn’t faced Gunderson since December of 2022 with our Warriors coming out victorious in that match with a score of 3-2. This match is important to keep up the momentum with our Warriors currently having a league record of 2-0. The Warriors are looking to keep up their good record. Some players to look out for in this match are Brian Ortega, Andrew Zarco, Christopher Mendez, and Jason Lauriano who are all coming into this game with good form and confidence. Our JV team is starting at 5:00 PM and our Varsity at 7:00 PM. Come support our Warriors in this exciting matchup!!!

Hey there Warriors! Yesterday was our boys soccer’s second league game against Evergreen Valley, which they did even better this time than during the first league game against Oak Grove. For JV, they won 1-0 & for Varsity, they won 6-0 against Evergreen Valley! With Bryan Ortega and Jason Lauriano both getting 2 goals, Cesar Gonzales with 1 goal, and Christopher Mendez getting one goal. Without the teamwork, hardwork, & dedication of some of our players such as Rodney Lucio, Andrew Zarco, and Juan Loaiza it wouldn’t have been possible to earn this victory. Our Warriors next game is next Tuesday, January 20th with JV starting at 4:00 PM and Varsity at 6:00 PM!!!

Hey Hey Hey Warriors! The second league game is on its way tonight, January 15th against the Evergreen Valley Cougars with JV starting at 4:00 PM and Varsity at 6:00 PM. Last season our warriors came out victorious against Evergreen in league with the score being a 5-2 win. The Warriors are looking forward to repeating it again this season. With the addition of our amazing players such as Bryan Ortega, Christopher Mendez, and our top scorer Jason Lauriano the Warriors are looking promising for this game considering Evergreen hasn’t won a game this season. Come out and support our Warriors on their second league game!!!

Hey Warriors! Yesterday was YB’s first league boys soccer game, which was an absolute success! JV had a 1-1 tie and Varsity won 4-0 against the Oak Grove Eagles. Congratulations to our Warriors! Players such as Marvin Alfaro who scored 2 goals, Jason Lauriano who scored 1 goal, and Cesar Gonzales who scored 1 goal as well and showed lots of effort and hard work, leading to their victory. Although our first league game was a success, our Warriors have their second league game this upcoming week, which is set to be tomorrow here @ YB against the Evergreen Valley Cougars. JV will be starting at 4:00 PM and Varsity will be starting at 6:00 PM. Make sure to come out and support our Warriors on their second upcoming league game!

Hey Warriors! Tomorrow the boys soccer team gets ready to start the league season, their first game will be tomorrow, January 13th with JV starting at 4:00 PM and Varsity at 6:00 PM. The Warriors are going into this game with confidence, since their opponents the Oak Grove Eagles haven't won a game in over two seasons. In this game some players to look out for are: Christopher Mendez, Andrew Zarco, and Bryan Ortega whose offensive output has been a crucial part for the Warriors. Let’s wish good luck to our Warriors. Also come out and support our boys on their first league match!!!

Post article vs. James lick 1/07

Hey Warriors! Unfortunately our Warriors JV team lost 1-4, as for our Varsity team they lost 4-3 after a well fought battle against the James Lick Comets. Although we lost, our warriors put in a good performance with Anthony Argueta getting one goal and Jason Lauriano getting two goals, keeping up his consistency and goal streak. Other players who had good performances were Bryan Ortega, Rodney Lucio, and Christopher Mendez. The Warriors get ready for their league opener next week against the Oak Grove Eagles come out and support us on our first league match!!!

Hey Hey Hey Warriors! We are back from Christmas break and hope you had a good time during the holidays. As for boys soccer they are coming back stronger than ever, practicing more hours than before and getting ready for their next game against James lick Highschool. Last year the Warriors faced them and lost 2-1 but our Warriors are ready and prepared to win this time. The game will start at 6:00pm and JV at 4:00pm. This game will be played at James Lick and we hope you guys can come out and support our warriors!

Post article vs. Andrew Hill 12/20

Hey Warriors! Unfortunately our JV team lost 5-0 to the Andrew Hill Falcons but our Varsity team came out on top getting a 2-1 win, thanks to goals from Rodney Lucio and Jason Lauriano. Both Rodney and Jason had an amazing match with Rodney getting a goal and an assist. As for Jason he keeps up his goalscoring streak showing consistency and hardwork. Other players such as Duvan Aguilar, Christopher Mendez, and Bryan Ortega had an amazing match. This was a very intense match, with our Warriors setting the tone as well as looking to keep up the consistency onto their next matches. The Warriors next match will be an away game on Tuesday, January 6 against the James Lick Comets. JV will start at 4:00 PM and Varsity at 6:00 PM. Come out and support the Warriors on this exciting game!!!

Hey Warriors! Our warriors are preparing for their sixth pre-season game and getting ready to play against the Andrew Hill Falcons. After winning 3-1 in last year's pre-season game against them, our warriors are looking forward to bounce back and score the win once again. Make sure to look out for our players such as Cesar Gonzales, Rodney Lucio, and Jason Lauriano who is looking to keep up his goal streak. This game is away and will take place tomorrow Friday 12/19 @ Andrew Hill. JV will start at 4:30 PM and Varsity will start at 6:30 PM. Make sure to come out and support our warriors!

Welcome back video

Overview 2024-25 Season

Hey Warriors! The 2025-26 boys soccer season is on its way. The Warriors are looking forward to starting the season strong. The team is coming off a 8-6-2 overall record, and a 4-4-2 league record, placing 4th in league last year. As well as an amazing preseason, with one of the most exciting games being against Andrew Hill Falcons. With the game ending in a 3-1 victory for the Warriors!!! We also lost against Willow Glen in preseason 4-1 but we are motivated to make sure we come back even stronger. We now look forward to having an even better season. 

As for JV, they had an amazing season with a record of 5-1-3 in league finishing in 2nd place falling short of winning league at the last match of the season losing to San Jose High 2-1. This year the JV team is looking forward to getting that 1st place spot showing they can come back from last season.

Along with a huge shoutout for our last year seniors:

Max, Edwin, David, Daniel, Kevin, Harry, Angel and a special shoutout for our last year senior captains Darwyn and Oliver, their leadership and discipline helped our team become stronger as well as set an example for our future players. 

Both of our boys teams are looking for a breakout season, with our captain Rodney Lucio leading the team. As well as very important players who are looking to have a breakout season such as: Christopher Mendez, Bryan Ortega, and Cesar Gonzales. As well as our last year top scorer Andrew Zarco who is looking to be a captain this year. Our Warriors Varsity team is looking to advance to a higher league this year moving from C league to B league. Let’s support the warriors on their journey this season. 

 If you are interested in trying out, be ready tryouts will be hosted soon! This year's conditioning starts on Tuesday, October 28 and tryouts starting in the first week of November. Times and practice locations will be confirmed soon!
