Yerba Buena is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to five goals on Wednesday
Yerba Buena now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Independence , their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-10.
Yerba Buena came out on top in a nail-biter against San Jose in their previous meeting back in February of 2020, sneaking past 2-1. Does Yerba Buena have another victory up their sleeve, or will Indepedence turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.

Yerba Buena bounced back in style with a 3-0 win over Independence. After a wild couple of games, they came out strong, controlling the match from start to finish. Despite Independence's efforts, Yerba Buena's offense proved too much, and they sealed a solid victory. It was a dominant performance as they regained momentum and looked sharp on both ends of the field.

The Warriors boys soccer team kicked off their 2024-2025 Pre-season on Tuesday, December 3rd, with a hard-fought match against Yerba Buena. Despite their best efforts and strong preparation under coaches Ledezma and Lopez, the Warriors were edged out 1-0 by Fremont.
The team showed great determination but it wasn't enough. While the loss stings, the Warriors displayed plenty of promise, and with continued hard work, they’re sure to improve as the season moves forward.
The Warriors will regroup and look ahead to their next match. Best of luck, Warriors keep pushing!
