Cross Country Season Overview
Hello YB Warriors! This 2024 season was a roller coaster ride. We only ran three times because the first two games were canceled due to unfortunate high temperatures. As a result of the September 18th cross country meet vs Independence & Lincoln, Indy & Lincoln beat both our boys and girls team; Indy 18 - YB 41, Lincoln 15 - YB 41 for the boys, and for the girls both Indy & Lincoln both scored 15 - 50 to our girls team. On October 17th We ran against Lincoln, our Warriors ran their best and we got 24 points and Lincoln got 33 points giving us the win! Then for our senior night on Halloween, Our boys were not able to win the match. But our Girls team took the win against Leland and Lincoln. Our season ended with our Varsity Boys having 1 win and 4 losses, our Varsity Girls ended with 2 wins and 3 losses. After the season, both teams placed 6th in our league at BVALs. With the season ending we congratulate all the runners who ran their best and we salute our seniors in; Ivy, Antony, Hieu, Hien, Allan, Harry D, Harry T, Alexis, Monique, and My and wish them the best. We hope to see you guys join next season and hope we do even better next year.

Beginning Cross Country Overview
Overview
Hello YB Warriors! Welcome to the 2024-25 cross country season. We welcome all new faces and returning. We didn't have the best records last year with our boys team going 1-4 in the Santa Teresa West league, and our girls squad going 2-3 in the same league. Despite our challenges we hope to bounce back and have a great season this year. Feel free to join our cross country team and come out to the track every school day from 4:15pm to 6pm. Interview with Coach Rembao
How long have you been coaching cross country for?
"I've been coaching for about five or six years."
Have you ever coached alone or have you always had another coach by your side?
"There's always been someone by my side. There's always someone helping me."
Have you ever done cross country in high school?
"No, no when I was in high school I was playing tennis."
What it like to have new people coming every year and seeing your seniors leaving?
"Well I am sad to see my seniors leave but it's always fun to see new people come out and join."
Were there captains at some point?
"Yea we did have captains at some point and we still do but it's just unofficial. But they know who they are and everyone knows that they're the captains."

09/18/2024 Yerba Buena vs Lincoln and Independence
Hello Warriors! On Wednesday, September 18th, our YB Cross Country team will be having a meet against Lincoln and Independence at Montgomery Hill Park and will start at 4pm. Even though cross country had a rough start at the beginning of their season they will now be able to show off their hard work at this upcoming meet. 09/18/2024 Yerba Buena vs Lincoln and Independence
Hello warriors! As a result of the 9/18 cross country meet vs Independence & Lincoln, Indy & Lincoln beat both our boys and girls team; Indy 18 - YB 41, Lincoln 15 - YB 41 for the boys, and for the girls both Indy & Lincoln both scored 15 - 50 to our girls team. In an unfortunate loss we can take this fuel and hope to bounce back in our future meets. Let's work hard and do better on October 17, thu. @ Montgomery Hill Park vs Del Mar and Prospect. Hey YB warriors, This Thursday we will be going against Del Mar and Prospect high school at Montgomery Hill! As always the meet will start at 4:00 PM and end 6:00 PM.
