Post-game VS. James lick 11/07/25

Hey warriors! Our warriors had an amazing night yesterday to end off the season. JV unfortunately  lost 22-14, but our varsity made up for it with a 62-22 blowout against the Comets

Hey warriors! Our warriors last game is this thursday, November 6th, against the Jame Lick Comets at James lick HS with JV going from 4:30-6 PM and Varsity 7-10 PM. The Comets played in the Blossom Valley Athletic League last year, and placed 7th overall in league standings. The warriors did face off against them last year and won against them 41-16. This game will determine if the warriors make playoffs and potentially move up to B league, which would change history for the program. #fearthespear

Hey hey hey warriors! For the 2024-25 season, the Yerba Buena Warriors played in the C League. The season for the Yerba Buena Warriors was filled with hard-fought battles, with JV ending with a 3-4 record and Varsity ending the season with a 1-8 record and 6th place in League standings, but they plan to come back this season. Shoutout to the seniors last year for giving their all every single game: Max Avalos, Elijah Duncan, Kris Eing, Kevin Nguyen, Hieu Dinh, Adrian Trotter, Angel Estrada, Chris Arroyo. Emmanuel Aparicio, Joshua Guadarrama, Ansar Kohistani, Eric Bautista, Antonio Lopez, and Zavier Hussen. The Warriors' first game of that season was against Homestead, which unfortunately ended in a loss for both teams. One of their most anticipated games was against their rivals, the Andrew Hill Falcons, with JV losing 0-39 and Varsity having one of the closest games of their season, unfortunately losing 20-26. The Warriors did pull off a win against the James Lick Comets, with JV winning 6-0 and Varsity with a landslide win of 41-16. Great job Warriors!

The Warriors are looking forward to having a major comeback with a new coaching staff and transfers from other schools, like #16 CB Joseph Silva from Andrew Hill HS, and #53 OG/DT Isaiah Campos from Gunderson HS. Be on the lookout for these players as they plan to have a breakout season:

The Warriors are having an offensive versus defensive scrimmage this Friday at the football field from 7-8 PM. Admission is free, so come watch their improvement! They also have a scrimmage against the SIlver Creek Raiders at the Silver Creek football field next Friday, August 22nd, at 4:30 PM. They have their first game of preseason on August 30th against the Marina Vikings at Marina High School from 4:30-6:30 for JV and 7-9:30 PM for Varsity. Lastly, catch the Warriors at home for their first home game of the season against the Harbor Pirates on Friday, September 12th from 4:30-6:30 PM for JV and 7:15-9:15 PM for Varsity.
