Hey Warriors, we fought Del Mar at their home court during winter break and gave them a challenge. Our Warriors scored 38 points with Isaiah Bouche being 14 of those points and Francisco Mendoza being 10 more. With all their hard work combined we came just under the requirement to win. What a great year we had Warriors and we hope to see you next year!

Hello Warriors, our Varsity players scored 39 points and Brandon Tran is 60% of those with 26 points. Although he did magnificent that game we did end up losing. We did great this year Warriors. We hope to see new players and new faces to fill the stands next year. ~Xzander F

Hey Warriors, we went against the SJ Bulldogs Wednesday, Feb 12th, and our JV boys won! We tied for the first quarter and got more than them for the 2nd and 4th quarter. Who got most of those points you ask? Well of course it’s the best player of the game Isaiah Bouche with 22! Son Vo in 2nd with 13! Well that’s all. Come to our last game on our week break off on Tuesday, Feb 18th. 

Hey Warriors, our Varsity team kept up a good pace with the SJ Bulldogs but in the end we did lose by 12 points. Our Warriors of course put in their best efforts and we hope to see them demolish the next game on Tuesday, Feb 18th. Go Warriors!

 Hey Warriors, we  our last home game against Gunderson and we did our best going 44 - 59. Isaiah B contributed the most to our JV’s points with 12 and Son Vo right behind with 10. Our JV Warriors will learn through this defeat and push back in future games. We hope to see you guys at our next game on Wednesday, Feb 12th against San Jose High looking to win again like our previous match.

What’s up Warriors, our Varsity Warriors fought hard and long against Gunderson for our Senior Night. Unfortunately we didn’t win with a score of 31 - 58, but we will learn from this loss. Players Thien Nguyen  and Elijah Duncan had impactful nights. In our last home game our seniors all got to start as a farwell.Please come and support our next game on Wednesday, Feb 12th against San Jose High at their house. Hello Warriors, we had a rematch against Andrew Hill and our JV boys almost secured the bag. The first half of the game we were scoring a tiny bit less than Andrew Hill but we locked in for the second half scoring more than them and almost winning in a tough loss by 4. On Friday, Feb 7th is our last home game. Please come and show your support Warriors!

In this rematch with our Varsity players Andy Pham scored the most points with 9 points and Brandon T and Thien N both scoring 8 points, put their efforts together in a tough match. Unfortunately, our freshman starter Brandon Pham has suffered an injury and is projected to miss the rest of the season. In the end we did lose but it’s ok because our next game against Gunderson is Senior Night! Show up to show your support Warriors. ~Xzander F

In this rematch against James Lick we won in an incredible game 92 - 82 winning in overtime. We had many points come off fast breaks, and break through their defensive press. Through this we had great players in Brandon T scoring over 25 points, as well as Johnson and Jason’s contribution in the 4th quarter. In this game we had a burst of scoring, setting a new game scoring record for our high school since 2008! Great game warriors and lets take our win streak and extend it to the next! ~Jason P

What’s up Warriors! JV had an intense game against Overfelt with our Warriors having an insanely relieving win. With 27 seconds on the clock both teams kept traveling the court until the ball got to our side and Brandon Troung got the steal when he brought the ball up the court we had two missed shot attempts, but #42 Francisco got the rebound and then a putback layup, hitting the game winning shot putting us 1 point ahead of Overfelt and winning the game 55 - 54. Beautiful game Warriors. 

For Varsity we won 47 - 43, in a close game at home we had to fight through that last quarter. We started strong with the score at halftime being 26 - 17. With good defence turning into good offence Brandon Tran led the charge to help win our game. Scoring an outstanding 31 points which is 65% of our points. Great job Brandon and the rest of our YB team with a good win. ~Xzander F

Hello Warriors, we had an overwhelming defeat from Del Mar with JV losing 35 - 56. Although we may have lost, we will keep training and learning their techniques so we can counter and push back hard. We hope to see you at the future games Warriors.

Hey Warriors, for Varsity we were losing the first quarter and got ahead of them by halftime. It was a slow paced game with our highlights of Brandon Pham scoring the most on our team with 10 points. This concludes the first half of our season, so we hope to see you at our next game vs Overfelt again. Good luck Warriors and let's turn this season around! ~Xzander F

The Warriors beat the San Jose Bulldogs on Friday January 17th, with a score of 53 - 33 the JV Warriors won by 20 points! Our first JV win! 22 of those points being Francisco Mendoza and Isaiah Bouche with 14 points! Good job guys, we’re gonna make that win streak even bigger.

The Varsity Warriors also got their first win with 59 - 45. Most of those points going to Brandon Tran with a whopping 21 points and Andy Pham with a sweet 16 points. Every quarter we were ahead of the Bulldogs. Good game Warriors, we hope to see more wins. ~Xzander F

The Jv warriors lost 27 - 63. Francisco Mendoza had the most points with 11. In this rough game it was very physical and we couldn't hold up. On Gunderson's Jv they had two strong players that also played up at the varsity level. In our best efforts we came short, better luck next time warriors! ~Jason P

What’s up Warriors! We fought Gunderson at  their home court but sadly we couldn’t defeat them. It was an intense and close match until the final minutes. Brandon Tran kept the score the closest with 19 points and Andy Pham with three 3 pointers! With these performances and their team we fought till the end and fell ever so short. Hello Warriors, we went against our rival Andrew Hill and lost short handed missing a few players due to grades. We lost 46 - 68 but we do have our Warrior Francisco with the leading 12 points for the team, and Jacob not far behind with 10 points. Good job guys, keep doing that for every game, keep training, and we’re sure to win our following matches!

Our Varsity also lost but not too far just like JV did. Varsity we got 56 - 72 but we did keep up for the first 2 quarters and outscored them in the 4th. But unfortunately our efforts weren’t enough to secure the win. Players like Brandon Tran helped lead the way in this game with 23 points while making five three pointers! Good job to him and we hope to learn from this game and get better as well as hoping to beat them in our next matchup on february fifth! ~Xzander F & Jason P 

Hey Warriors, yesterday the Varsity Warriors had visited James Lick and battled for it to end in an extremely close game losing 59-62. The Warriors had put up an amazing first half being up by 20 points against James Lick. The second half the Warriors had put up their best efforts in an extremely close game only to lose by 3 points against the Comets. For our next matchup against them we hope to get our get back against the Comets! Good luck Warriors! ~Shane R

Hey Warriors, our JV Warriors went against Overfelt and they tried their best but we just couldn’t overcome Overfelts effort. We lost 43 - 59 but our JV players learned from them and will do better in the next game. Good luck JV Warriors! ~Xzander F

Hello Warriors, our Varsity went hand to hand with Overfelt but they just kept one upping us on our score. We sadly lost 36 - 48. They kept having the upper hand with a couple extra points every quarter. We did out score them in Quarter 4 by a point 14 to 13. So that can show us if we can keep it up longer we can win next time. In a 17 point loss, the JV YB Warriors couldn't secure the win. Players like Isaiah and Francisco did well shooting threes and getting to the free throw line helped put points on the board. Better luck next time Warriors! ~Brandon C

In a tough loss against south San Francisco, the Warriors played a fast paced defensive team. we had gone back n forth on defensive fast breaks, but south city ran away with the game. ~Brandon C

Hey Warriors, our JV boys had a matchup against Evergreen valley highschool in which they played well. They lost the game 27 - 68, but it was a night for Isaiah Bouche getting three point shots up and Fransisco Mendoza driving in and getting foul opportunities. We hope they get experienced against tougher opponents to prepare for the league. Good luck JV Warriors! ~Jason P

Hey YB Warriors, the boys faced a tough challenge Friday night on their home court, going against Evergreen Valley High School. The game ended with a score of 39 - 80 loss for the Warriors, who struggled to keep up with Evergreen's fast pace and high pressure defense. The boys fought hard, showing a lot of energy on the court. In an inter league match we tried hard to win. This game serves as a reminder of the challenges of competing teams from a higher league.

Hey Warriors, Thursday on Dec 12th our Boys Basketball team went against Mt. Pleasant. We lost 31 - 74. In losses like these we must keep our heads up and put those losses aside and keep fighting as hard as we can. Next game is on Friday the 13th against Evergreen, it's at home so come and support the Warriors!

Hello Warriors, the JV Team has lost to Lincoln. It was a close game only 10 points away. Q2 was our best quarter with 18 points. Q4 was not too far off with 15 points. Despite the loss the JV athletes showed fearsome competitiveness throughout the game. Good job Warriors! ~Xzander F

For Varsity, they also lost but they didn’t go down without a fight. In the first half it was a close game staying competitive. We hope this game can give us fire to win more games, as we have three more games this week. In a big week we hope to come out to a new game and win! Support YB on Thursday 12/12 at Mount pleasant. Hello Warriors, Friday on Dec 6th our Boys Basketball team has lost to MacDonald High. In a close 13 point game. Our guys lit up the floor in 3 pointers with Isaih Bouche scoring 7 3 pointers putting up a total of 24 points. We not only scored outside the arch, but also pounded the paint with Francisco Mendoza getting 18 points off 2s and free throws. Nonetheless a great effort from JV in a heated game.

In another heated game the Varsity boys lost by 14 in an exciting game. Andy pham and Brandon Pham both had 16 points! On fire as well is Brylin Thomas with 10. Good effort and we hope to improve and win games going forward. ~Jason P

Hey Warriors, Wednesday on Dec 4th we went against Silver Creek and both JV and Varsity put up a tough fight but unfortunately we lost. Jv started off hot scoring 3 pointers and moving the ball around. We ended the first quarter only down 14, at 12 - 26. Through the game they tried their hardest and did what they could.

For Varsity it was a fast paced match with full court press and lots of steals. The teams went at each other. In a tiring game Players like Brylin Thomas and Johnson Bui had good defense on top of our zone. Andy Pham also had a good performance in shooting three 3 pointers on 50% shooting. In a solid effort we hope to bring this intensity to our next game on Friday! ~Jason P & Xzander F

JV had started off excellent, as in the first minute of the game Isaiah Boueche immediately goes for a 3-pointer and hits it. Willy Nguyen got multiple rebounds helping the team have possession of the ball most of the time.

JV’s star player was Isaiah Boueche who put up 17 points, as he put up shots beyond the arch and driving in the paint. Our JV warriors gave it their all both offensive and defensive-wise but had lot to the Live Oak acorns 19-59, Good job JV Warriors and better luck next time!

The Varsity Warriors had started in a competitive game down by 13 at halftime. With players like Thien Nguyen going strong in the paint and getting fouls. Though Thien took one for the team, getting hit on his eye and the wind getting knocked out of him. With other contributors like Elijah Duncan and his quick feet on defense. Though we let the game slip out of our hands and let the acorns get on a run. In an out classed game against a B league team, the game ended in a 34 - 64 defeat. 

Nice try warriors and we hope to do better in our following game vs Silver Creek!

Hello Warriors, On November 30th our Boys Basketball team went against Pioneer High School and both JV and Varsity lost. It was a sad day but with this sad day they will turn that loss into experience for more wins to come! Go Warriors!

The Yerba Buena basketball Warriors had put up a good fight against Prospect, ending with both Varsity and JV losing. A key player that stood out was Brandon Pham as this being his first varsity game starting and he played excellent and did his part. The Warriors will learn from this tough loss and continue to become better and win games. Let’s go Warriors!
