Ok warriors, tis the season ended, and the curtains close on this magnificent chapter of YB. Jaba jaba. Let’s look at what happened.
The team ended off the season with a strong 1-9 (against our favor). Throughout the whole season, the team had struggled to fetch a win. Until their last game was an excellent victory of 4-3, truly the best they’ve played. Despite all our losses, each game was close and nerve wracking as the YB team truly made them work for their victory.
We also have many new prominent players. Hieu Dinh is first time player and he and his natural skill have already sent him to the big leagues, he now sits comfortably at Varsity 3. Honorable mentions also include Benson, Vincent, and Leo, as they are some of the best Freshmen players we have seen in a while.

Leading on, we want to highlight the senior: Carlos Posadas! This is his first and last season with the Tennis team, he’s always been playing with the team and actually got to play with them this season. Carlos has been in a total of 8 games, and one important game to note is senior night which the team lost. However, this gave him motivation to win the last game of the season!!!! Carlos carried so hard as a senior and the team worked so hard too. Over the whole season, Carlos couldn’t play two games because life be like that. Good luck, man! Future pro athlete!!!!!!!

Finally, let's talk about the upcoming 2024-25 season!
Of course, they lost most of the games this year, but they are very hopeful for this next season. The tennis team only lost one key senior, Carlos Posadas, this year compared to the last seven. This contrasts from the MANY seniors leaving from every other team in the league. One school to mention is Pioneer, whose team is mostly seniors currently.
The team is going to get way better. Building experience over summer and the fall, the players will be able to do well coming into next season. There will also be 5 new seniors next year: Hieu Dinh, Damon Huynh, Isaias Plascencia, Peter Vu, and Johan Desiderio.
Make sure to stop by late February next year to join in on practice and conditioning if you intend to join! Although, this year there won’t be any open courts over the summer because the COURTS ARE GETTING REDONE! Bring water and tennis shoes, equipment is provided
BYE WARRIORS AND SEEEE YOUU NEXTTT YEARRRR!!!!!
