As spring approaches, the anticipation for the boys’ tennis season is heating up. The Yerba Buena Warriors are getting ready to return to the courts after a strong 2024 season that saw them finish third in the Santa Teresa West league with an overall record of 5 - 5. With returning talent and fresh new faces, the team is ready to aim even higher this new season.
While the Warriors are determined to improve their gameplay this year, they will certainly miss the leadership of their seniors from last year. They greatly impacted the team’s success, and their presence on the court will be missed.
With a new and stronger team, renewed focus, and commitment to success, the 2025 Warriors Boys Tennis team is ready to take the season by storm. Tryouts and conditioning are right around the corner, so mark your calendars and be ready. Game on, Warriors!

Hey, hey, hey Warriors! This’ll be the final recap for the YBHS Boys’ Tennis Team. This has been a wonderful season full of growth, hustle, and great memories both on and off the court. Let’s take a moment to congratulate our Warriors for their discipline and great sportsmanship through the 2024-2025 season.
Our boys went against tough competition but were able to hold their ground every match. From every long rally to every close set, they all improved each time. The effort and dedication that came from our team did not go unnoticed. We had a strong season, going 6-2 in our league. Keep checking to see who won awards.
Let’s give a final shoutout to all of our graduating Seniors:
We’re proud of all the seniors who impacted our team and wish them all the best in their future.
For all the returners and new players, keep up the good work! Take advantage of this off-season to improve your game for the next year. We hope to see more of you come out next season. The courts are waiting for you, Warriors!
