Hey Warriors! Yerba Buena’s boys’ tennis team will be gearing up for a home game against Oak Grove High School on Tuesday, April 8th, 2025, at 4:00 PM. In the last season, Oak Grove competed in a lower division and finished 3rd with a 4-4 record. Since we didn’t go against them last year, this will be out first matchup in a while. It will definitely be a game to watch! Our Warriors are prepared to take on the Eagles and defend our home court. We hope to see you out there bringing up the energy and cheering on our boys. Santa Teresa @ Yerba Buena 3/27

Hey Warriors! Yerba Buena’s boys’ tennis team is ready to take on Santa Teresa at home on Thursday, March 27th, 2025 at 4:00 PM. During the 2023-2024 season, Santa Teresa dominated in their division and finished 1st with a 7-1 overall record. Since they were in a lower division last year, we didn’t get the opportunity to play against them. This will be a fresh challenge for our boys. The Warriors are ready to defend their home court and show off their amazing skills. We hope you come out and support the boys. Go, Warriors!

Lincoln @ Yerba Buena 3/25

Hey Warriors! Yerba Buena’s boys’ tennis team is preparing for a big home game on Tuesday, March 25th, 2025, against Lincoln High School at 4:00 PM. Last year, we were in the same league as Lincoln. However, they placed higher than us, finishing 3rd with a 5-5 record. We’re looking to turn the tables this year and hopefully place higher. This is going to be a challenge for the Warriors but not one they can’t handle. Let’s show up and bring up the energy, cheering on our Warriors to victory. Go, Warriors!

Hey Warriors! Our Boys Tennis team lost a close one to Lincoln on 3/25 with the last two matches going into third set tie breakers. The team has a chance to bounce back against Pioneer on 3/27. Come to the courts at 4:00, watch some great tennis, and cheer on your Warriors! -Xzander F
Yerba Buena @ Sobrato 3/20

Hey Warriors! Yerba Buena’s boys’ tennis team is making its way down to Sobrato High School this Thursday, March 20th, 2025 for a 4:00 PM matchup. Last season, Sobrato was in the Santa Teresa East division so we never got a chance to face off against them. They placed 2nd with a 6-1 record. This is going to be a tough but exciting matchup for our team. Let’s show up, show out, and cheer loud. Go, Warriors!

Hey Warriors! Our boys’ tennis team played hard and secured their second win of the season against Sobrato with a wonderful 4-3 victory. The win came down to the final showdown with the boys’ doubles team, sophomores Vincent Ma and Benson Nguyen, who delivered a clutch performance that was able to earn them the deciding win for Yerba Buena. They were able to play under the pressure and it made all the difference, taking home a W! Our Warriors are set to play Lincoln High School at our home on Tuesday, March 25th, 2025, at 4:00 PM. Hey Warriors! Yerba Buena’s boys’ tennis team is eager to face off against Silver Creek this Tuesday, March 18th, 2025, at 4:00 PM at Silver Creek High School. Silver Creek previously played in a lower division, so this will be our first matchup in a while. They were 3-5 in the Santa Teresa East division last year and placed 4th out of 5. Our Warriors are ready to take the challenge and make this match one to remember. We encourage you to come out and cheer on our boys as they fight for victory. Let’s go, Warriors!

Pioneer @ Yerba Buena 3/13

Hey Warriors! Yerba Buena’s boys’ tennis team is pumped up to take on Pioneer at home this Thursday, March 13th, 2025, at 4:00 PM. Pioneer was in the same league as us last year, except they placed last and we placed one spot ahead of them. Even though we placed slightly better, this match is an important opportunity for our Warriors to showcase their skills and what they’re all about. We hope to see you there supporting our Warriors as they aim to protect their home courts. Let’s go YB!

Prospect @ Yerba Buena 3/11

Hey Warriors! Yerba Buena’s boys' tennis team is ready to hit the courts against Prospect High School on Monday, March 11th, 2025, at 4:00 PM at our home. This is going to be the first time YB plays them. Prospect has come down from a higher division, moving from A league to B league. However, they are currently undefeated. This is going to be an excellent test for our Warriors as they face them with a fresh start and a chance to make their mark. Hope to see you out there cheering out on our Warriors! - Joie A.

Hey Warriors! Unfortunately, our Boys Tennis team was unable to secure a win against the undefeated Prospect High School. Even with this loss, there was still a standout performance. Our number 2 singles player, Johan Desiderio, was able to pull out a victory against his opponent with his excellent skills and determination. The team is set to face Pioneer on March 12th, as long as it doesn’t rain and the courts are dry. We hope to see you supporting and cheering on our Warriors as they hopefully secure some wins for YB!

Yerba Buena @ Oak Grove 3/6

Hey Warriors! We are going against Oak Grove on Thursday, March 6th. YB did not go against Oak Grove last year, so we don’t know much of what we are going up against. Oak Grove went 4-4 overall last year, and YB went 1-9 last year. Since this is our first time fighting them, let's give them a surprise! Come cheer for our Warriors in the stands at 4 pm.

Hey Warriors, our Yerba Buena’s Boys Tennis team just secured their first win of the 2024-2025 season against Oak Grove 6-1 on Thursday, March 6th. YB had never previously played against Oak Grove, so we didn’t know what to expect. The Warriors were able to come out strong and made a statement against them on the court.
