'24-'25 End of Season Recap
Hey Warriors! This will be the final article for the YBHS Girls’ Basketball Team, This has been an amazing season with many things to learn. Congratulations to our Lady Warriors for their resilience, determination, and hard work. Our JV team finished 3-5 in the league and 3-14 overall, including pre-season. As for our Varsity team, they finished at a record of 6-2 for the league and 8-9 as their overall record. The Warriors will be staying in the C-League, however, many teams from the leagues above are coming down to compete also. Great job, Warriors!

Quick recap...
Previously on the last season.. YB's varsity girls basketball team got 2nd place in the overall league with a score of 7-3. Since then, many seniors had graduated and followed their destined paths. Let's take a pause and acclaim to honor them. At first, we have Alice Tran who was Senior of the Year, followed by Jenny Pham, My Tran, and Katelyn Duong. We honor their efforts and contributions towards the team!
Moving along.. We have our JV team. Last year, our JV team were 3rd in league with a record of 4-4 led and conditioned by Cole Nguyen but this year, we are welcoming our new JV coach!! We are so excited to see how our JV and Varsity will do this year with upcoming players joining JV and our returnees that will try out for varsity.
