Quick recap...
Previously on the last season.. YB's varsity girls basketball team got 2nd place in the overall league with a score of 7-3. Since then, many seniors had graduated and followed their destined paths. Let's take a pause and acclaim to honor them. At first, we have Alice Tran who was Senior of the Year, followed by Jenny Pham, My Tran, and Katelyn Duong. We honor their efforts and contributions towards the team!
Moving along.. We have our JV team. Last year, our JV team were 3rd in league with a record of 4-4 led and conditioned by Cole Nguyen but this year, we are welcoming our new JV coach!! We are so excited to see how our JV and Varsity will do this year with upcoming players joining JV and our returnees that will try out for varsity.
Past dates.. we will have basketball conditioning from October 4th, 2024 to October 11th, 2024. Conditioning will be located at the weightroom and track. As for open gym, it will be held on October 19th, 25th and 26th. Be sure to bring yourself (and friends too!), athletic wear (including shoes), and water bottles! Tryouts and practice dates will be updated soon so until then, stay tuned Warriors!
