The fall 2023 girls tennis season has officially come to a close. This season was very bittersweet and unfortunately they didn't win most of their games. However, they used this time to rebuild their team with the many players that left and joined. We would also like to take a moment to acknowledge all the seniors and the hard work they put in:
Thank you to all the seniors for everything you've done for the team we will miss you all! Good luck with college or any of your future endeavors.
Next year tryouts will be (00/00/00), and the team will come back better and stronger! SEE YOU GUYS NEXT YEAR!
THANK YOU LETTER TO MR TRINH AND MR LIN:
Hope the season was well and good luck for next season! Thank you Mr. Trinh and Mr. Lin for everything you’ve done this season helping the team out! Congratulations to the girls on their season-ending 6-1 victory in their final game. We appreciate everything the seniors have done for the team and will miss you all. To conclude all of the prior games, this one was a success. Despite many obstacles along the way, you guys never gave up and kept moving forward! We all admire your dedication and hard work! GOODBYE SENIORS AND THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING
Girls’ Tennis has just come to an end! Although it has been tough for the girls they kept their morals up and didn’t let it affect them.
Many seniors left and graduated, as a result this season was used as a stepping stone. They were focusing more on rebuilding their team with the many new faces joining.
Contrasting this, they faced teams with much more experienced players, which proved to be a challenge for the girls.
The Girl’s played 5 Different schools in their league (B League in the Santa Teresa West Division) and even though they haven’t had a winning record, they still never gave up and stayed working hard to improve their skills.
Their first game was against one of, if not, the strongest teams in their league– Willow Glen. Despite this, they still managed to win one match (1-6). Unfortunately, their next games were against other well-rounded teams with much more experience than ours.
