Hey, Hey, Hey Warriors! The 2026 YB track season has officially concluded. It was a tremendous season as our track team had an extraordinary undefeated record of 4-0 and finished 1st in the West Valley League. During the season, they scored 8 dual points, were 1st in finals place, scored 5 final points, and 13 total points, all of which were the highest in the league. It is a possibility that they will be moving up a league next season. Here are some notable people from the team: Aksham Tuteja won the league championship, BVALs, CCS, and made it to state as a para-athlete, Nathan Tran won the league championship for the 400m, high jump, and 4x400m, won BVALs for high jump, and made it to CCS for high jump, Marlie McCray won the league championship for shot put and discus, won BVALs for shot put and discus, and made it to CCS for shot put, Kaycee Landa won the league championship for the 800m, 1600m, and 3200m, Grace Tse won the league championship for the 100m hurdles, 300m hurdles, and high jump, Eliesa Tupou won the league championship for triple jump, Mystique Wong won the league championship for triple jump and long jump, Uriyah Pascual finished 2nd in the league championship for the 100m, 200m, and 4x100m, Chinedum Onuorah finished 2nd in the league championship for high jump, Betty Jew finished 2nd in the league championship for the 3200m, Chau Tran finished 2nd in the league championship for the 100m hurdles, Jeanie Tran finished 2nd in the league championship for long jump and triple jump, and 3rd place for the 4x100m and high jump, Brayan Ortega finished 3rd in the league championship for the 300m hurdles, Nestor Gonzalez finished 3rd in the league championship for the triple jump, and Ella Truong finished 3rd in the league championship for the 3200m. Overall, they could not have asked for a better season and we are confident that they will have a similar season next year.
