What's up, Warriors! Tomorrow, we will be going against Gunderson High! This meet marks the fourth meet of the season, and we have high hopes that our Warriors will come up on top yet again, just like our previous meets. This meet was set to be away, however was changed to be hosted as a home meet. It will be at 4:00 PM at the track. This meet will also be our last, and it will be our senior night as well. Last year, Gunderson High placed 3rd in the league standings for the boys, with 2 wins and 2 losses. The girls placed last, with 0 wins and 4 losses. With everything said, we hope to see you cheering for YB out there. Go Warriors!

Hey Warriors! Yesterday, our Warriors went against James Lick High, and came out on top with another victory yet again with the scores being 120-7 for boys and 98-26 for the girls, which is absolutely amazing! We hope to see our Warriors carry that streak in the next meet against Gunderson High!

Yoo, what's up, Warriors! This week, we will be hosting our third meet at home, which will take place at 4:00 PM, just like last time. However, this time, our Warriors will be facing off against James Lick High School; their standings last year were not the greatest, as the boys placed second-to-last (5th place) with a measly 1 win and 4 losses. For the girls, they did a little bit better, placing 4th last year, right above Oak Grove, with 2 wins and 3 losses. With that being said, we don't expect James Lick to be that much of a challenge. Still, we wish our Warriors the best & hope to earn this dub! Make sure to come out to the track and cheer them on!

Post-Match Article | Overfelt High
Hey hey hey Warriors! On Thursday April 2nd, YB went up against Overfelt, marking it as the second meet of the season. Unsurprisingly, our Warriors were able to earn the dub yet again, with the scores being 99-28 for boys, and 96-26 for girls. We hope to see even more amazing results in future meets!

Hey Warriors! Tomorrow, this Thursday April 2nd, we will be having our second meet of the season, which will be a home meet against Overfelt High at 4:00 PM. In last year's season, Overfelt High placed 5th (last) in the league finals for boys, with 0 wins and 4 losses. For girls, Overfelt High placed 4th place in the league finals with 1 win and 3 losses. In comparison to Overfelt, YB placed 2nd in the league finals for boys, with 3 wins and only 1 loss. Likewise, for girls, YB also placed 2nd in the league finals, with 3 wins and only 1 loss. All in all, with everything in mind, we are confident YB will win and earn the dub this meet. Be sure to come out and support our Warriors!

Post-Match Article | Del Mar High
Hey Warriors! Yesterday, our Warriors put on an awesome performance and achieved amazing results against Del Mar! Here are the individual scores. For boys: we beat them 100-9, & for girls: we beat them 79.5-31.5. We wanted to give a huge shoutout to some of our boy athletes, such as Uriyah Pascual, for placing 1st place in the 100m dash with a time result of 11.4 seconds. Next, another huge shoutout to Nathan Tran for placing 1st place in the 400m dash with a time result of 54.0 seconds. And finally, Cleyton Magboo for placing 1st place in the 800m dash with a time result of 2:14.2 minutes. For the girls, we wanted to give a huge shoutout to Vivian Phu for placing 1st place in the 100m dash with a time result of 13.9 seconds. Next, another huge shoutout to Alexandra Carrillo for placing 1st place in the 400m dash with a time result of 1:07.1 minutes. And finally, Kaycee Landa for placing 1st in the 1600m with a time result of 6:15.0. Congratulations to our Warriors for putting in their hard work & dedication! Pre-Match Article | Del Mar High
Hey Warriors! Our Track & Field team is having its first-ever meet of the season against Del Mar High this week on Thursday, March 26. This meet will be away and will be at 4:00 PM. Last year, Del Mar placed 3rd in the girls' league and 4th in the boys' league. This gives us a significant advantage against them, as last year we placed 2nd for both boys and girls. We hope to either keep this consistent pace, or excel and do even better than last year and earn this dub against Del Mar. Be sure to come out and support our Warriors, see you there!
